Pros

You are given the opportunity to built relationships with your partners as well as customers in a way that is unique to working at a place like Starbucks.

Cons

Although your schedule may vary, it is not easy to take time off unless you have a responsible team willing to pick up hours.

Advice to Management

It is important to keep positivity going and morale high because the job becomes tiring and an annoyance if the small issues seem bigger than they are. Focus on the big picture.

    Pros

Retail side of house truly lives the values of Howard.

    Cons

The non-retail side is mostly a large group of good ole boys. Their actions do not align with the words and values of Starbucks. This group is self serving and manages up. Starbucks has become so large Howard and his direct leaderhsip team have no idea how bad this side of the company is run. Employees "called partners" are afraid to speak out or call the hotline given the reprecussions and history of negative impacts from leadership on this side of the house.

    Advice to Management

You are pushing partners to organize with a union. This is our last hope. Just look at the turnover and ask yourself is this normal??????
