I have been working at Starbucks part-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

you get to meet new people everyday and try all the delicious creations. You also get to experiment with the products and see what you like or dislike.

Cons

There is usually one customer a day that is not the nicest person in the world. You will realize how much people need their coffee and how much people need to learn some manners.

I worked at Starbucks part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great people, great customers, free coffee!

    Cons

My store needed me to work 25+ hours per week, and that was too much with school at the time.

    Advice to Management

More involvement in helping baristas continue to learn

I have been working at Starbucks part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Love my customers (except for the super entitled ones), love my co-workers, and even though it drives me crazy some times, I love the company.

    Cons

It's hard work. You have a lot of pressure on you to sell all the time while maintaining unrealistic standards of cleanliness, satisfaction, quality, and sales.

    Advice to Management

All stores can't have 100 on QASA, 100 on Customer voice, 20% growth on at home coffee sales, and an increase in transactions per hour all while you are cutting labor. If you want that, let managers have more people working at once.
