I have been working at Starbucks part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits for only working 20 hours a week, decent tips at most stores, free pound of coffee every week, the opportunity to advance in store management if desired

    Cons

Some demanding customers, some clueless customers, often incompetent upper management, advancement requires some unnecessary training

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Lose the positivity act, be real with store workers, and hire better middle managers with actual interpersonal skills

I have been working at Starbucks part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible schedule, vacay hours, stock grants, med/dental/vision ins, well run company

    Cons

don't expect to work more 20-30 hours unless you're a manager

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    RECYCLE, PLEASE!!!
Also, I don't deal with this, but Sbux managers are notorious for waiting to bring up "opportunities" until a performance review.... shoddy work, sir.
