Current Employee – been working at Starbucks full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – No matter what stage in life you are, Starbucks, has everything to benefit from. Whether you are a student in college, we provide tuition benefits. Whether you are needing great health care coverage, we provide benefits of a full time partner for a part time partner as well. Advancement to career is excellent, whether in the field or corporate in Seattle. Lots of principles Starbucks adhere to can correlate into everyday life. How we treat one another and how we can make a difference in society; with community service or funds we raise to benefit small businesses.
Cons – A very physical job! We differ from so many another retailers, we ARE fast and we EXPECT sense of URGENCY from all partners. So if you expecting a laid back job, this is not the job for you.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
