    Wonderful benefits for only working part-time, comprehensive training program, easy advancement within the company

    Cons

    Being part of a "say yes" company, sometimes hard to get sufficient hours, very early opening hours

    Pros

    Flexible scheduling (you can also work in other locations)
    Free drinks
    30% discount while off the clock
    Free pound of coffee/tea every week
    You get to form connections with your regulars

    Cons

    You really can't exclusively survive on Starbucks' pay
    Very inconsistent scheduling
    You beg to your fellow baristas to pick up their shifts when you aren't satisfied with your assigned number of hours
    Very laborious, especially when you close
