    Pros

40cent raise after 6 months, free coffee/tea weekly, less stressful than grocery stores

    Cons

Bad management in that they move managers around so much it's very hard to get promoted because no one works with you long enough to vouch for you.

    Advice to Management

Find permanent positions for managers so that stores can thrive

  2. Pretty stressful but opportunities for advancement.

    Pros

I felt I was very well trained at Starbucks and knew how to do my job very well. A job like this prepares you to handle any customer service issue.

    Cons

Low pay and minimal raises were unhelpful in creating loyalty and avoiding turnover. Also many missed lunches and breaks (although you would get compensated by being paid an extra hour).

    Advice to Management

Better pay would help immensely in terms of decreasing turnover rates.
