Flexible and Friendly

Barista (Current Employee) Vancouver, BC (Canada)

ProsGreat benefits, flexible hours and they train new employees well. They take time to teach you about the company and about your job so you can do well.

ConsShifts can be short, four hour shifts for example. I have been told they do this for tax related reasons but it would be nice to work a full shift when I go to work.

Advice to Senior ManagementNone

    I worked at Starbucks part-time

Pros: Talking to customers is fun, as is mixing (non-alcoholic) drinks. Cons: Dishwashing can get hot, may be uncomfortable. More

I worked at Starbucks part-time for less than a year

Pros: great benefits - even for part-time free drinks when working, discount when not free pound of coffee… Cons: it can be difficult to get the hours you want… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
