Former Employee – worked at Starbucks full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Teamwork within the finance team was very cohesive and co-workers were very supportive and smart; fast-paced environment with changing priorities (good and bad); good work-life balance
Cons – While the overall function is large and there are opportunities for advancement/movement, career development is still very much on the individual and therefore networking is essential.
Advice to Senior Management – Be open to identifying more rotational opportunities at all levels
