I have been working at Starbucks part-time for more than 8 years

Pros

The job is fast-paced and high-energy, and the pay and benefits are fair for what we do.

Cons

You're on your feet all day, so there are times where you can be sore when you're off for the day.

I worked at Starbucks part-time for more than a year

    Pros

medical and coffee benefits. Fun atmosphere great training, can move up to management in about 5 years.

    Cons

unless you're going to stick it out for the long-haul and shoot for management, the job is only good for free coffee and medical.

  2.

Great place to work! A lot to learn that carries beyond coffee and Starbucks

I have been working at Starbucks

    Pros

Free whole bean coffee or tea each week, tips hourly, stock options and gains, 401k match, health benefits after working an average of 12hrs a week, great social connections in community and among baristas, resources at finger tips for constant personal improvement.

    Cons

Some times not recognized for achievements, might be hard to move forward or up after a certain position, and standards constantly changing and can be hard to always "Be on you toes" with the current standard.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to value your partners. Give encouragement and recognition for achievements and behaviors.
