Great encouraging atmosphere with lots of room for growth in company!

I worked at Starbucks full-time for more than 5 years

Pros-Big sense of community
-Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental
-401K with matching up to 5% (i believe)
-Fun atmosphere
-Free drinks on your shift
-Free pound of coffee or tea weekly
-30% discount when off the clock

Cons-Hours are all over if you're a Barista could work 0-30+ different weekly
-Schedule changes a lot, not always consistent
-You were encouraged to focus on open availability and not be able to juggle school.
(Above are dependent on your store and manager)

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to your partners and make them feel like they are part of Starbucks and not just the bottom of the barrel in the company.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
