I have been working at Starbucks full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

You get to connect with customers on a daily basis, and depending on your area and the type of people you get it can be a lot of fun.

Cons

Little pay, little say within the company, no bonuses to speak of.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

More incentives to upsell for all partners. Currently if we help our store do very well financially, the only person who gets a bonus is the manager.

I have been working at Starbucks part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Great health benefits package
    Free coffee

    Cons

Crazy inconsistent hours, 18hrs /7days expected availability, work while sick

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

build an internal coverage network to make it easy for staff to find replacements, allow regular work schedules so workers can plan their lives outside of Starbucks, have better processes in place to discourage workers from working while SICK if they can't find replacements..
this does not line up with the public Starbucks culture or values
