    Pros

-Easy to move up to being a shift supervisor. - Make connections with customers Making connections with customers is a major pro in this area. You meet a lot of people every day who can possibly help you excel in your career. - Free coffee/drinks - Great benefits the benefits are really good and so is the pay if its your first job or a job while in school. - The hours are great. I generally range from 25-37 hours a week never really goes below 25.

    Cons

Managers can get really lazy. My manager lives up the block and she never closes the store. Can get really busy its a really fast paced environment if you don't like working in a fast paced environment this is not the place for you. After you become a shift supervisor its pretty hard work to become an assistant store manager especially if your manager doesn't help you and simply tells you what you need to improve on but doesn't help you improve nor work with you to improve. Dealing with the food and beverage industry can get really annoying.

    Advice to Management

Screen your managers a lot more. Managers can get really really lazy, if a manager is not as passionate or doesn't like someone very much they will not work with them to move up.
