I worked at Starbucks part-time (more than an year)

Pros

Benefits, perks, great employees, work that kept me busy , great training

Cons

Lower pay than I wanted starting out

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Store managers need to make sure that they take their time hiring part-time employees to get the right "fit", otherwise we end up with kids who don't show up for shifts or are constantly calling in sick and then eventually quit.

I have been working at Starbucks full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Great benefits, many skills you can learn to translate to other parts of your life (i.e. multitasking, networkings, etc.)

    Cons

Pay could be increased. I'm single and live pretty frugally, and have a difficult time doing so.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Increase pay to retain higher caliber employees who will stick around.
