I have been working at Starbucks part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Supportive colleagues and friendly atmosphere at work. People are generally nice and helpful.

    Cons

Not much that I can think of. Probably pay should be raised.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus more on baristas and encourage them to learn day by day, so that promotion is facilitated.

I have been working at Starbucks full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Fun atmosphere, free coffee, great benefits (to FT and PT employees), a lot of opportunity to learn, grow and develop and be promoted. Challenging goals, supportive leadership, great rewards. A mission statement and core values that are not just a poster on the wall.

    Cons

Long hours, consuming- although I think that in general if you are in a leadership position these are commonplace. Over past couple of years has become highly focused on the business/dollar aspects of running a business over the people aspects.
