Pros

fringe benefits, flexible scheduling, relationship with customers

Cons

Thankless, coffee drinks are a luxury item so you're not really filling a need but a want.

I worked at Starbucks full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Worked my way up from Barista to Store Manager in under 5 years. Great job if you're young and looking for a lot of structured management training. Loved the team I build, loved the free coffee, and loved my experience.

    Cons

The hours. The work life balance. The constant change of processes-- and little control as a manager to actually run a store.

    Pros

Good work life balance. Many people leave the office by 5:30pm.

    Cons

    Constant leadership changes.
Poor technology to support work. Not current information in databases and it is difficult to pull data.
Work stops when new leaders come in and it makes getting anything accomplished difficult.
