I worked at Starbucks full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Fair pay, good hours, offer insurance, a pound of free coffee a week , tip sharing, good atmosphere to work in, great products and training.

    Cons

The chance for advancement without relocating is somewhat difficult since all baristas seem to want to become managers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please be truthful about chances for a person to become part of a management team. Almost all baristas seemed to want to become managers and were willing to throw one another under the bus to accomplish that, all with a smile and "Welcome to Starbucks, how may I help you" on their breath.
