I have been working at Starbucks part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good insurance coverage even for part time employees, sufficient training and development to ensure success at job, stores were well stocked and well run, very good at promoting employees that show drive and competence.

    Cons

Low pay compared to other service jobs, workload could be very demanding, even part time employees were scheduled to work near full time hours.

I worked at Starbucks part-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Flexibility, health, vision, dental, tips.

    Cons

Open shift hurts after a few months, hurts even more after a few years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Find a way to recognize and compensate those who have to work split shifts, early opens, and 'acting' roles when managers are unavailable.

    Positive Outlook
    Approves of CEO
