I have been working at Starbucks full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Starbucks is an amazing place to work where people truly care about and for one another. I don't know of another large company in Seattle that offers the work-life balance you find at Starbucks.

Cons

It can be a little political at times.

I worked at Starbucks full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Fun environment with free coffee! Looks good on a resume to work for such a respected company. Meet lots of people.

    Cons

Cutting labor at stores creating a very stressful environment for store partners is not the way to offer the "Starbucks Experience." Work/life balance went our the door when the bottom line became more important than their people.

Hard work, but has taught me a lot about how to deal with people.
