I have been working at Starbucks full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

great benefits (ie. health insurance, free coffee, tuition reimbursement), exceptional co-workers, caring management and fun environment. The experience you get working as part of the management team will help you in other fields like finance or HR if your career path is in industries like those. You will also learn a lot about how a business works and how to be a good leader.

Cons

low base pay and high expectations from upper management. There are a lot of responsibility for all level of employees. There is minimal rewards for performance.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

because of the heavy amount of work required for the job, the base pay must be increased. This is especially true for shift supervisor position. More funding for stores to motivate or reward team for achievement.
