I worked at Starbucks full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I'm in love with this company. I still visit every day even thought I've quit. I love this product and it's easy to stand behind. My co-workers were great to hang out with

    Cons

Low pay, even with tips it was hard to live off of minimum wage. My GM was a decent person, great with customer service but shouldn't have been a manager, even her assistant manager was verbally abusive to me.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Managers need to spend more time caring about their employees. I once walked into work crying because of family issues and instead of asking if I was ok. She said "leave your issues at home when you come to work" I didn't feel like part of the team even after working there 6 months.
