I have been working at Starbucks part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Weekly tips can be a decent addition to your paycheck. Making drinks is fun, though you probably won't be on bar all the time. You can make yourself any amount of free drinks while you're working.

    Cons

Coordinating your life schedule around your Starbucks schedule is a hassle. It takes new recruits a while before they aren't messing up left and right, which will often test your patience. Every Starbucks I have worked at has a different way of doing things; if you're unlucky, you might get stuck at a store where everyone has to stick to lots of arbitrary rules and you're constantly being corrected for silly things. The Starbucks app that everyone uses is glitchy at times, and you will be blamed by customers for something you did not do and cannot fix.

I worked at Starbucks full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Company tends to be quite flexible with needs for work/school/life balance, especially with students. Benefits are exceptional for an entry-level position.

    Cons

Position faces a great deal of stress as customer lines are becoming longer and upper management pressures employees to increase retail sales.

    Approves of CEO
