I have been working at Starbucks full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Diversity, benefits, culture, excellent customer base, strong brand, enjoyment of coffee tasting daily.

Cons

becoming more stock holder driven, micro management, budget cuts, too many outside hires of upper management who have no concept or understanding of operations, driving sales and cutting labor more valued than customer service.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stay out of politics, and get back to allowing managers to manage and take care of their customers.

I have been working at Starbucks (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Starbucks pioneered what Employee Benefits should look like. No employer in the world holds a candle to what Starbucks does for the community! If you have benefits in a part time role, You can basically thank Starbucks for making this possible. They basically invented this concept.
Starbucks isa great place to build a career and learn about leadership. College gave me the book skills and Starbucks shaped me as a leaders. I am really thankful for the experiance.

    Cons

The hours are long. Allow store managers a little more input on the operational piece on how to run the third place.
