I worked at Starbucks full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

You get to create a work family between your employees and customers. You learn great building blacks for life and business. I think that most people should work for Starbucks because it teaches you a lot. I really enjoyed my 5yrs with them. Benefits are great, and there is the ability to grow you just need to show it.

Cons

There can be a lot of change, so you have to be open minded when you walk in. Unfortunately, you always get at least one bad seed manager that can really ruin your experience.

I worked at Starbucks full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Starbucks has a great atmosphere. Especially for a young person, experiencing their first job, this is a wonderful way to grow you resume and keep a work life balance. Health care and now tuition assistance make this a very enticing company to work for. If I could make my current salary from Starbucks, I would switch jobs in a heart beat.

    Cons

They pay is good for a young person with little to no responsibilities, however it is not conducive to supporting a family - especially in California. The only thing I really had an issue with was that every manager I had while working at 3 different home stores was way too involved with the younger staff's business. At times it could be a lot like high school with clicks and everything.
