    Pros

The flexibility was great. Benefits are available at 20 hours/wk. If you move, chances are you would be able to transfer to another store without any trouble.

    Cons

As with any company, your immediate supervisors make a huge difference in whether or not the work place is enjoyable. Some baristas make more than the shift supervisors, dependent on length of service. The amount of responsibility for the low pay is disheartening.

    Advice to Management

Encourage your DMs to hire from the inside when assistant and management positions are available.

  2. Nice culture, great benefits

    Pros

Depending on location, opportunities can be plentiful. Washington offers much room for growth. The ASM role is designed to be temporary, which is a plus.

    Cons

Compensation is a bit low, especially considered my level of education and training. Store Manager or District Manager can be a toss up, but if you're unlucky enough to get a bad manager, your life can be turned upside down.
