I have been working at Starwood Hotels & Resorts

    Pros

The company has a vision, which is clearly articulated and delivered. Senior management communicates with one voice. We have the best up scale and upper -up scale properties in the world.

    Cons

The Company is still growing and it will take more time for us to achieve our goals and some people are not willing to wait.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to hold everyone accountable for The Journey and be willing to take a stand and let employees know if they are not meeting the expectation.

I have been working at Starwood Hotels & Resorts

    Pros

discounted rates for hotel rooms..if they are available across the world
Yo get a free cafeteria meal while you work

    Cons

management doesn't always filter information to you, and you're left to figure it out yourself.
Too much turnover in key associate areas (front desk) - and they don't train well.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Managers should actually filter information down to line-level associates instead of "forgetting" to tell someone how to do their job and letting them fail.

    No opinion of CEO
