Pros

State Farm was a great place to work...I loved working with t the agents and policyholders to match policies to their needs. State Farm has instant credibility in the local community and "Like a Good Neighbor" really rings true with local policyholders. Great support from underwriters and team members from corporate is enjoyed.

Cons

The unwillingness of agents to pay staff in accordance to what they bring to the agency. Finding the right agent to work for means everything. State Farm being the mothership and a distant entity is not as important as finding and working for the right kind of agent.

more background checks into agents
