Former Employee - Financial Services Representative in Austin, TX

    Pros

Most of the people honestly believe in the company and the products. I still use the products and still recommend them. State Farm is a big company and financially strong. They are able to pay their claims. They even pay other companies share when they are forced by federal policies in place.

    Cons

They are a big company. Some times they are slow to change. They are very conservative with both risk and money, thus certain markets they could insure they choose to stay out of OR they price themselves out. It could be very frustrating.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be careful who you hire in upper management, probably could stand to thin that heard. Don't try to force those who know where they want to be and what they want to be in to something they are not. Otherwise your get lesser quality people.

    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
