I have been working at State Farm full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

The benefits are outstanding and the company truly cares about customers and employees. There are lots of opportunities to grow and develop across the company.

Cons

Large company equals large processes. The processes can be extensive, but there are people who seem to be able to make them easier to navigate.

I have been working at State Farm as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Very nice people, decent hours (9am to 4 or 5pm), I am able to work on what I want to work on throughout the day with the help of any of the office staff when I need them.

    Cons

Lower hourly rate than what I would like, office staff is not getting commission for any of their sales, the agent gets all of it which I think is not very fair (but it does not really affect me, I just feel bad for the ladies putting in all the work)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Encourage agents to commission their staff.

    No opinion of CEO
