I have been working at State Farm part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

I really enjoyed my time with State Farm, the company has a strong values system that permeates throughout. Employees are encouraged to keep family obligations before work responsibilities (to an extent) and State Farm consistently offered opportunities to grow as both an employee and individual.

    Cons

The work culture can be very conservative at times; State Farm is an insurance company based near the rural Midwest so if you're looking for a very liberal workplace where you have a great deal of free time and the chance to "find yourself" while on the job, this may not be the place for you. I enjoyed the emphasis the company placed on working hard at all times but some individuals may not find this attractive.
