Great experience for first job

Senior Fund Accountant (Former Employee)
Princeton, NJ

I worked at State Street full-time for more than 3 years

ProsWorked on a very big client, Blackrock, which has a large mutual fund mix and got great exposure to municipal bond funds, mortgage backed funds, international equity funds, forex, and a large array of derivatives. Pay was ok.

ConsWork was a bit mundane, not much flexibility at all to do anything, even excel spreadsheets were locked by IT.

Advice to Senior ManagementNot much to say since State Street closed the office and laid off everyone.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

Good place to gain experience or retire!

Business Analyst (Former Employee)
Irvine, CA

I worked at State Street full-time for more than 8 years

Pros: Good entry level place to get experience. Good place to retire… Cons: Salary increases are pathetic. No opportunities for growth. Management is always looking to give you a rating of 3 or less so they can avoid… Advice to Senior Management: How's outsourcing to India going? Guess you got your fat… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
