Pros

A lot of the individuals are nice people. 7.5 hour days are great during the summer months. The medical benefits are also very nice!

Cons

Unorganized. Lack of department wide alignment with the organization strategy. Individuals have their own agendas resulting in everyone running different paths. Its very hard to accomplish anything within this atmosphere.

Advice to Management

Align your organization.

    Pros

The people I happen to work with. I LOVE my team and my direct managers & supervisors. The cost of healthcare is OK but being able to afford to USE it is questionable.

    Cons

Human Resources policies that hold back QUALIFIED candidates such as job classification as a job requirement. There are VERY few positions in the MIDDLE classifications that allow workers to actually reach the higher pay grades and move upward. Pay at the low grades STILL qualifies for PUBLIC ASSISTANCE programs. The UNION does not work for the WORKERS either and will not support or assist in advocating for changes. They ignore requests for help.

    Advice to Management

Advocate to change job requirements that are NOT part of the ACTUAL JOB.
