I have been working at State of Delaware full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good work life balance and 3 weeks of sick leave for the stress that management puts on its staff.

    Cons

Most managers are less educated, lack management skills and like to bully those under them. 2.5% pay reduction was restored however some managers received 20% increases while most people who have been there over the last 10 years actually make less. Early retirement package would be nice to show some of the slackers the door.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Show some compassion and respect to those under you.
