Pros

Interesting work, enjoyed my time there. Great coworkers, supervisor was amazing. Department head was a little flaky in getting work done, but overall was a great place to work.

Cons

Working for someone, even at a distance (I was far removed from working for the Attorney General directly), whom you don't share the same beliefs and are required to push their beliefs instead of yours sucks. But otherwise a great place to work.

    Pros

Great benefits, great managers, helping people of all walks of life. Very professional colleagues who are easy to work with and make work enjoyable. We are like family. We encourage one another to develop our skills further and then train others in our office.

    Cons

Sometimes you'd like to turn some difficult people away, and then you realize that's why they are there to see you... When you work for the public sector, there are no fringe benefits, only a salalry, paid timeoff, and great medical. No free passes to yoga, discounts on flights or cars, etc.

    Advice to Management

    keep up the great work!

    Pros

Salary, benefits, and even time for volunteering!

    Cons

Political challenges, even though it should be a neutral environment if management does not like you for any reason whatsoever, you are not going to stay employed there. You will not have a chance to move to another department once a bad review is written up.
