I have been working at State of North Carolina

    Pros

I liked working with the state because of the unique job i was doing. I appreciated the Flexibility when i had Dr.s appointments, I think the vacation time and sick time accrual is decent, affordable parking fees, some training opportunities are available.

    Cons

I worked with the state for over 10 years and had not received a raise in over 4 years. Insurance premiums went up. Cross training is not readily available

My advice to managers would be to be more professional. Speak to me in the same way you would want me to speak to you.
