Pros

pay is good, comparable to same position in other parts of country; if you get full-time, and that is a big "if", then benefits are good...medical, dental, eye; generally they will not ask for overtime, because they do not want to pay you at time an a half

Cons

your job is that you do everything, if you are a banquet porter than you may have to clean up trash or do tasks to help the banquet servers who get gratuity and you do not; pay is not good when you compare to properties on the "strip"; you may not have a job and they will not give you any warning...they have done that in the past and they probably will do in future as long as they know they can get away with it

Advice to Management

if you work an employee 40 hours a week for over a month straight, then give them the full-time status and the benefits that go along with it; if you want to save money go ahead, but give 2 week notice just like you would expect us to give
