the flexibility within statoil is the best thing one can experience

the benifits one gets from statoil are so bad if compared to other companies.

    Pros

    Relaxed environment
    Excellent training
    Company has many places to work for
    You can change your division, as much as you want

    Cons

    Progress in positions could be slow
    Not a great place to start if you would like to have fast growing progress
    Number of trainings per year is little

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Please trust young engineers for high responsibility tasks. Increase number of trainings, make it more intensive. Trust performance and development more than your HR and budget. It worked for Exxon, Chevron and Schlumberger, it would definitely work for Statoil.

    Pros

    Good trainee program
    Social programs are nice aswell as the benefits
    You get to meet new people and all days are different

    Cons

    Salary is not high, low OT rate.
    Takes time to get recognized for good work
    You will get tired of making fast food

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Create a program for Franchise owners to better understand how to motivate employees.
    Dont be afraid to give people more responsibility
