Positive Outlook

I worked at Staybridge Suites as an intern (More than a year)

Pros

You gain experience and can be involved in every sector of the hotel You will experience different situations to help you advance in the system Its fun if you make it fun with the employees The managing staff is very friendly and laid back and want you to enjoy your job

Cons

Sometimes you get thrown in horrible situations like being overbooked and the management does not assist you in any way to fix the problem. But I can say that it does evolve your problem solving skills

Advice to Management

Make the front desk agents life easier by ensuring that we can fix overbookings and not end up 3 guests over on a day that many hotels are sold out.

I have been working at Staybridge Suites full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Front desk staff is a fun job, great to get to know long term guests. Stress-free job, with decent pay for such low-skill work.

    Cons

Bad hours, often understaffed, guests will get mad about things completely out of your control, but you still have to manage it without blowing your cool.
