Foodservice is a dynamic industry. The industry is never stale and therefore you have the challenge to continually innovate your product. Its the second oldest restaurant brand in the US. It has a loyal customer base and great food.
Cons
Small when compared to competitors. Regional limitations. Management has some issues. Under-resourced, in terms of headcount, at corporate headquarters. Low morale with recent downsizing and leadership changes ( 07/2008).
Advice to Senior Management
Sardar, dont try and be CEO of two companies at once. Despite your best intentions and efforts, you dont have the experience or credibility to be a CEO right now. Restaurants live and die on two critical functions: Marketing and Operations, NOT Finance. Financial wizardry will not bring back SNS to its former glory.
