The Crew and the customers... very family oriented

Cons

Server attitudes; too much drama sometimes... all about the tips... not about the service... too busy fixing their hair... on the phone.. texting

    good first restaurant management job

    bonus structure does not add an incentive to perform, un-timely reviews, raises are non-existent if you score in the range to receive a raise. Employee uniforms are not taken seriously...meaning filthy employees. If you want talented managers you are going to have to pay for them and this company thinks they can teach a person to be a good manager ...that is just not the case....every industry knows this.

    Advice to Management

    recruiting has to be at the forefront. Identify your opportunities in-house to manage your stores and drive a results based team. Tenured managers should have more of an investment to perform and hold the bar... if they are not ...get rid of them. Stop keeping people just because they have been around it is hurting the brand. Check your CEO rating based on other companies with a similar product and a similar customer base...why is yours so low? Your employees are telling you how to fix the issues they have and you are not listening to them. Sometimes they do know what works after all they are guests and they eat at your stores and they TELL people about their experiences. It can be your greatest asset or your greatest enemy. Turn your employees into allies and your company will look more favorably to the public and potential investors. Stop worrying about what the public thinks of your brand and become overyly concerned with how your employees see and view their job satisfaction. Your employees are affecting your brand image more than your guests comments. Take care of your employees ...the product sells itself with proven quality and the price-point reflects the value they are receiving. Your biggest opportunity that can create the greatest impact on your business...is your employees.
