Cons
store mgmt very rude, in particular the asst. mgr. classless abrasive attitude in front of associates as well as customers. favoritism is accepted and placed on display daily. Do not approach or question decision making as you are not quailified to provide. Instead of focusing on customer service and building the sales ticket rediculous pathetic tasks are implemented that have no true or definitive out come at the end of the business day. No formal training. Communication was at a minimum and often overlooked. Mgmt set poor example with regard to organizational skills.I have to stop.
Advice to Senior Management
It is imperitive that you provide formal training seminars for store mgmt. 12/14 hour sales are losing there appeal. Create a new and exiciting approach to energize and engage the customer. In a fast paced deverse economy creativity will have a positive impact on the bottom line. Make your most valuable asset and I don't mean merchandise feel important, you know all the hard working associates.Make it a priority that district and regionals are required to approach and to talk with all associates.Should not be the responsibility of Mr. Stein who happens to be a sincere confident face of the Co. CEO to make you feel important. How embarrising for me to have to make that reference. Finally it disturbs me that I had to be so open and candid but the advice and direction I recevied while employeed provoked me to inform the public and corporate america that are there lots great positive people out there.
