    Poor communication from upper management to outside employees, early start time for outside work

    Must do a better job communicating to the laborers if something needs to be done a certain way and by a certain time.

    I have been working at Steinhafels part-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Great people
    Make $30,000+ a year working part time if your good
    Family owned
    Free lunch on Saturdays (and not just subs and pizza... Good food!)
    Flexible scheduling

    Cons

    Always work weekends
    Top earners are less likely to receive disciplinary action for breaking floor rules.
    Acceptable performance standards must be met each quarter.
    HAVE to sell protection plans and design packages. It can be stressful!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Allow Sales Associates to leave early from time to time without any of the guff. We work on 100% commission, if a customer hasn't walked in the store in 2 hours why are you keeping us all? Be creative and make up fun furniture /vendor knowledge games or store tagging challenges to determine which employee(s) of the handful inquiring, gets an early out.
