Pros

honestly, none !!! or maybe just for a good health insurance :) you will need it for sure !!! the managers are really good, the prrof, they make money, but they are unable to keep their employees more than one year...

Cons

When you're in Steria, you're just a slave... never mind how a good slave you are, you will always be treated only like "meat"... for the rating about "recognition & feedback" it is 4 for the feedback (thank you, you really did a very nice job) and 1 for recognition (although all the nice job you did, we can not pay you more than you are already paid)...

Advice to Management

R.E.S.P.E.C.T people please !!! and give a little money of the much money you earn !!! you are so mean !!!

    Pros

    Worked in a good team

    Cons

Lack of support. Took too long to get anything done. Didn't feel like part of the overall company Too much process

    Advice to Management

Cut out the processes - you have good people working for you, give them the freedom to do their jobs!

I have been working at Steria full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Great Social enviorment, - High level of proffesional knowledge in both technical and non technical fields, - Main office has the best view in Oslo, - paid overtime(you don't get 50% extra per hour if you have any non billing hours), - Yearly bonus of 1 month salary if company meets targets. (usual 60-100% payout), - 10 000 nok bonus if you take approved certifications in your own spare time(you have to meet the 100 % billing requirement)

    Cons

    - Pressure to do non compensated work to progress in your carrer path. - Unrealistic requirements to meet your personal target. - Not possible to work/sit in at other Sopra Steria offices(outside Scandinavia). As in most Norwegian IT consulting companies: - Management will pressure you to take customer project that are not relevant to your career path if you don't have any other projects. - It is easy to get stuck for 1 year + on projects that are utterly boring.

    Advice to Management

By setting unrealistic requirements for employees to meet their target, the road is short for the employees to use illegal aids such as certification dumps.
