I worked at Stevens Institute of Technology full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I could explore new ways to perform my job and achieve my goals. Personal development through internal courses and external training is supported and encouraged. My immediate manager was very supportive, giving me helpful ideas at how to better perform my job. Graduate school courses are free, a nice perk.

    Cons

I had to spend time cultivating relationships with upper management, the deans, etc. Socializing with co-workers seemed to be an unspoken requirement as well.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to encourage personal growth and job development.
