Stifel, Nicolaus & Co. – “Decent place to work”

Pros

Good benefits, Good support staff, decent pay. The travel is kind or rough at times, but it comes with the job so you expect it.

Cons

My biggest complaint is this companies total disregard for any kind of equality in the employees they have. If you are not a broker, then you are insignificant to them. Brokers can do whatever they want at anytime with no fear of being reprimanded where as the low man on the totem pole had better be perfect or they are gone.

Advice to Senior Management

Those IT people, support staff, and administrators keep you guys in business. The FA's would be lost without them. You might want to consider these things when you lay people off.
