I have been working at Stony Brook University full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Convenient position, located in long island, new york. About 90 min to NYC. Many public facilities available. Weather is comfort. Many opportunities in the city for those looking for a position in bank and financial company.

Cons

Cost is high. Living and renting. High competition. Everyone wants to work in NYC. Boring on campus.

    Pros

It's easy. You read the event log, and set up rooms (tables, chairs, stage, microphone, laptops) and make sure everything works. Also, you do some cleaning like wiping tables down with Windex and sweeping/vacuuming. *If you work 15 hours a week, I am sure for at least 7 of those hours you will spend setting up events, while the other 8 you will have free time to study or read a book/go on your laptop to relax.*

    Cons

It's minimum wage: $7.25 an hour. Bummer because we do a lot of physical labor when we moves the tables, stages and chairs.

    Advice to Management

Everything's is alright. Just raise our pay. Thanks
