    Pros

they pay for your room and board when you are an RA

    Cons

They use the fact that they pay for your room and board as leverage to make you do whatever task they ask, it may seem like a small price to pay but at this school they really take advantage of the fact that you literally have to do whatever they say. Even if that means staying present in your room even though they cut off most of the lights and all the hot water in your building.

    Advice to Management

They should care a little more about making their RA's comfortable

  2. Has its pros and cons, overall experience is OK.

I worked at Stony Brook University part-time

    Pros

As a student it is convenient to work right on campus for the University. As a tour guide you receive free Stony Brook apparel. Good job to build communication and public speaking skills.

    Cons

Because on campus jobs are very demanding for the students, the wages are kind of low. There are a few weeks in the academic school year that are very hectic and require you to work long hours. This can be problematic for those who need to study for exams. Also, you are forced to wear the apparel given to you by the school at all times, I personally found them very uncomfortable.
