Stream – “Friendly and open but poor compensation/promotion opportunities”

Pros

Stream can be a fun and open place to work. It's cool to meet so many people from different backgrounds. Management doesn't bother the employees too much so you can really just get on with your work. Middle management is actually better than senior in most cases, as they mostly started out as support agents themselves. Company is run fairly well as senior management tend to listen to employees when they have a problem.

Cons

Compensation is OK to start off with, but there are hardly any opportunities for an increase. Even as a team manager you'll only be getting another 2-3k a year. Apart from a small increase in your salary every 6 months there are no bonuses or benefits, which (alongside the level of compensation) doesn't compare well to other local outsourcing companies.

Advice to Senior Management

Provide better compensation and a more reason to make an effort. Better options for promotion and higher salaries for middle management. Give employees a better reason to stay on for more than a year.
