I worked at Stryker as a contractor (less than an year)

Pros

I was on contract at Stryker Sustainability in Phoenix. My experience was really positive. It's a VERY young company. But the people are bright and hard working. Comfortable atmosphere. Really like the flex arrangement I was able to do.

Cons

Only con I could say is that there are a lot of contract workers and sometimes the "divide" between contractor and employee is a bit too…. line in the sand. Other than that, it was a really positive experience.

I have been working at Stryker full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good opportunities and lateral mobility is highly encouraged. Lots of opportunities to change jobs and see different areas of the company. Interviews are rigorous but great sense of job security once hired in

    Cons

Interview process leads to one type of personality. Can expect to work long hours and compensation for an entry level employee is not highly competitive although that can quickly change 2-3 years down the road
