Pros

Stryker is a focused growth firm that is helping to improve quality of life for patients worldwide. Stryker values employee development and has evolved formal processes for acting on employee feedback.

Cons

The company is maturing systems to catch up with organic and acquisition growth. Must be able to navigate in situations where there is not always an established process. The upside of the firm being at this stage of development is that there are many opportunities for self-starters.

    Pros

Stryker is a great company to work for. Stay clear of this reprocessing division. All of the other divisions are better than this bush league division.

    Cons

Stay away from SSS..you can make more money at Denny's. Also it's flat out disgusting. 10+ hours a day picking up used devices for pennies..literally pennies!

Dump all of the Ascent losers before its too late.

    Pros

Salary and benefits are good. Flexible schedule and good work-life balance.

    Cons

A lot of politics! This Division used to be good until employees from the Mahwah location were suspiciously promoted to management roles and relocated to Alameda. They require you to spend most of your days in meetings to discuss what you will be discussing in future meetings and as soon as you leave the meeting, you email one another to discuss the meeting you just left.

Former employees still keep in touch with some members of management. The reason why this is bad is because management share confidential information such as future business plans, firings, lay-offs before they even occur. So these former employees end up looking like the modern Nostradamus.

Some of the women there can be real catty unless if you're upper management and they're attempting to get a "raise" out of you.
