Pros

Successful Business and great customer service. Excellent vision for future of the business. Fierce competitor in the marketplace. Opportunities for new hires are strong.

Cons

Tons of technical debt. Great sounding culture values, misses in execution. We are likely to build and maintain multiple ways to get things done. Can't seem to completely replace legacy when new way is implemented. Departments would rather do it themselves than engage/trust another department.

Advice to Management

Chris T (CEO) seems great with consistent vision and excellent communication. People are mean and petty in the middle management level, more important to cya than get it done.

    Pros

Newish management has purged the "that's just the way it is" mentality that some companies that retain longterm employees have.
Good equipment, frequent happy hours and cake parties makes you feel somewhat valued.
WFH okay once or twice a week.
It's fun working for a successful company.
Most people are positive and happy. Good teamwork.

    Cons

It doesn't seem like it at first, but this place is super political. If you find yourself on the wrong side, forget advancement, forget decent bonuses, forget being able to contribute, hard work doesn't matter. Problems caused by staffing problems endemic to the industry are blamed on current employees.

    Advice to Management

Listen to someone else for a change. Try to get away from your yes-men and look for other opinions.

    Declining in Technology

    Pros

If you like Sports and coding, this might be a fit for you.
Flexible hours, but that goes both ways.
Non Technology teams seem to have a lot of fun.

    Cons

Technology team as a whole is on the decline. Some teams or individuals do alot of work while others are fairly terrible or ineffective. For the most part management style is top down with less and less room to provide input, which breeds less engaged employees.

Innovation is being put into a room while managers talk. The 'whats good for the company' banner from office space really needs to be hung up at this point.

    Advice to Management

Long term goals will never be met when we cant even do the little things right. Some stuff is in order but alot is barely functional.
