I worked at Styles for Less full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

discounts on already cheap clothes, fairly easy to get promoted, "manager" title looks good on resume, fun co workers

    Cons

Pay is very very low, it doesn't matter what your previous experience was. You work hard for a company that over works their employees with very little pay. High turnover rate with employees. Stores are constantly understaffed. Very unorganized. Kinda sad to know in-n-out burger employees make more than your store manager. Some store managers are very unqualified for their position and unprofessional (I'm guessing because they don't get paid well). Opening manager is scheduled to open alone and is alone for around 4 hours. It's unsafe in some locations and not good for loss prevention. How are you suppose to prevent theft if you are working alone and 10 customers in the store?!? The customer service procedure is impossible to execute to its entirety to every customer if the store is really busy. And the customer service "sell with style" procedure isn't made for every kind of customer! Not everyone enjoys a sales person bugging them every 2 mins. Very unethical business practices. The list of cons goes on and on

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be professional!!! Hire people that are actually qualified!! Work on business ethics!
